BOAT TRAILER PARTS PLACE - TAMPA FLORIDA - How To Measure U-Bolts

U-Bolts are available in PLATED (ZINC), GALVANIZED, and STAINLESS STEEL.
However, most sizes are not available in all materials.  All of our U-Bolts are priced with and include nuts and lock washers.
We hope this clarifies how u-bolts are measured the two most important measurements are the (1.) Width and (2.) Length of leg, THE WIDTH IS MEASURED FROM THE INSIDE OF THE U-BOLT.
Most metal (Tongues, Cross Members, Post, etc) on trailers is either 2” or 3” or more.
The U-bolts for them is always 1/16” wider between the legs. This is so the U-bolts fit over the material.
Most fasteners used today are galvanized or stainless steel.
